About Me

I’m an IT apprentice (Datatekniker med speciale i infrastruktur) working in the internal IT department at a tech company that builds nano-satellites. I keep our earthly systems behaving while cheering the space ones on.

What I’m Studying

Datatekniker med speciale i infrastruktur — the Danish way of saying: “I make networks hum, servers behave, and users happy (most of the time).”

What I Do at Work

Internal IT for a nano-satellite company: Windows services, identity, device management, and the glue that keeps ground-control calm.

Day-to-day

How I Learn

Lots of small labs, scripting in Bash and Python, and the occasional dramatic “don’t do that again” moment (see disasters page).

Right now

Day-to-day in Internal IT

  • 🖥️ Windows servers, AD, Group Policy, device & user lifecycle
  • 🐧 Linux services for tooling, monitoring, and lab work
  • 🌐 Networking basics that keep the space-stuff grounded
  • 🧪 Safe experimentation (keyword: safe)

Stack & Tools I like

  • 🪟 Windows: AD, GPO, file services, basic Intune
  • 🐧 Linux: systemd, journald, SSH, containers, shell-fu
  • 📡 Networking: IPv4/IPv6 fundamentals, VLANs, routing basics
  • 🔧 Automation: Bash, Python, a pinch of Ansible

When I don’t accidentally summon the reinstaller, I’m usually exploring new ways to automate the boring bits, make infra friendlier for newcomers, and write notes that my future self will actually thank me for.
