Notes from the lab, IT apprentice tales, and the occasional “don’t try this at work” story. Expect small reads about Linux, networking, automation — and the kind of mistakes that teach faster than manuals.

My Time in SKO — First Taste of IT

Ahh, SKO (skoleoplæring). This is where I learned what “being in IT” actually feels like.

  • Helping the elderly with their IT problems. Printer dragons. Email goblins. Browser toolbars from 2007.
  • Setting up entire self-sufficient labs and watching them actually work.
  • Learning to explain tech in plain language — and then do it again, slower, with a smile.

Fast-forward: now I work at a company that builds nano-satellites. I’m part of the internal IT team, keeping the earth-stuff tidy while the space-stuff flies. It’s wild, and I’m lucky to be on the ride.

If you like horror-comedy, you’ll love the SKO stories. If you like calm infra and tidy configs, you’ll like the rest of this blog. Welcome in.
